The Italian Taste

Baked pasta

Baked pasta is a delicious, tasty Italian dish.
It's so rich in ingredients to be considered as a one-plate meal.
Who doesn't know lasagne, cannelloni, timbales? who doesn't love them?
We've tasted for you all the most famous Italian recipes and we can give you doses and ingredients exactly accompanied by a digital photo; but we have also a lot of unpublished recipes, all that are our ideas.

"Lasagna", Bologna-style

Lasagne alla bolognese is a traditional course from Emilia Romagna (Bologna involves Emilia). It is rich in fat and proteins and high-calorie too. But it's very tasty ... unmissable! Once in a while ... why don't you taste this divine food? In Bologna families it was the traditional Sunday lunch with home-made pasta.

Oven-baked macaroni with eggplants

Oven-baked macaroni with eggplants

Sicilian recipe (pasta 'ncasciata). It is dry pasta, baked in the oven that can also serve as a one-plate meal for the wealth of its ingredients. Obviously high-calorie but a real treat to devote to special moments of the summer. It can be considered a Mediterranean dish but to eat rarely. A curiosity: it is one of the favorite dishes by Inspector Montalbano ;)) I present you my version.

Baked lasagna without meat

Baked vegetarian lasagna with artichokes, asparagus and spinach. This is our new recipe for baked lasagna. The news is that they are made without meat. Baked Neapolitan macaroni

Baked Neapolitan macaroni

Baked pasta is a greedy tradition in our Italian homes. I have been preparing this recipe for baked Neapolitan rigatoni for many years and with excellent results in the opinion of all those who have tasted it. It is particularly greedy and inviting with those meatballs in tomato sauce and mozzarella.

Baked pasta with asparagus and fava beans

Baked pasta with asparagus and fava beans

Asparagus and fresh broad beans are typical of spring and therefore have always been combined together. Indeed, sometimes peas and artichokes are also added in delicious vegetarian recipes. Like this one I'm about to present to you and which was born completely by chance in our home kitchen a few days ago.

My grandmother's lasagna recipe

My grandmother's lasagna recipe

Granny's lasagna. We named this version of lasagna with meat sauce, tomato and salami that my grandmother cooked for me when I was a child. Recipe that has nothing to envy to the classic Bolognese lasagna. Indeed it is even richer.

"Lasagne" with fish sauce

Some call them seafood lasagna, others with fish or fish. However you call them the versions are really many because they respect the tastes of those who propose them to you. So mine is also a very personal recipe.

Salmon and asparagus baked lasagna

Salmon and asparagus baked lasagna

Green lasagna with asparagus and salmon. Not fresh salmon, however, but the most practical Coraya smoked salmon sticks. This baked pasta is quick to prepare and good. An excellent solution if you have to put together a dinner with friends or want to prepare a lunch for Sunday different than usual.
